The Venue

The EXPOFORUM convention and exhibition center is the main venue for ICM-2022. It has already hosted top-level international events such as the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
 

  • The main venue includes: Three pillar-free exhibition pavilions F, G, H each of which can be transformed into a comfortable congress hall of any size up to 8,600 participants with modern sound, light, and projection systems suitable even for film screenings and concerts.
  • We guarantee that the opening ceremony will be held in one modern comfortable hall of exactly the needed size and will be conducted by the head of state.
  • There is an adequate modular space for parallel sessions of up to 10,000 people. This space can be transformed with sound-proof mobile partitions. All rooms are equipped with modern sound and video systems and can be fitted with blackboards.
  • We guarantee adequate space for all sections, with room size quickly scaled up or down if needed.
  • Ample cloakrooms and registration areas are located on the first floor.
  • There are two on-site hotels (5 and 3 star) with over 430 rooms, and a number of restaurants.
  • There is a broadband Wi-Fi access throughout the ExpoForum, as well as a multi-zone and multi-channel public announcement system.
  • There is an ample space for exhibitions, discussion rooms and lounge areas.
  • We will organize in the passages and one of the exhibition pavilions a large number of food stations to avoid lines during the breaks.
  • The Center has an on-site high-quality catering service, which will provide a large spectrum of food, from fast snacks to proper sit-down meals.
  • All types of dietary, religious dietary, vegetarian/vegan or other special meals (according to choices in the registration form) can be provided by the catering.
  • The lunches will be either free or subsidized.

State-of-the-art security systems: video surveillance, registration and access control, burglar and fire alarm systems, automatic fire extinguishers.

The centralized system for managing and monitoring access (integrated with ticket sales and visitor registration) can be used to set up different levels of access to specific areas. Facial recognition and video identification equipment is available on-site.
